Find a Meetup

Start where you are

Political involvement does not have to begin with a campaign, a meeting full of strangers, or knowing all the right words. It can begin by noticing a problem and meeting someone else who notices it too.

Attend a meetup

MatSuBlue plans to offer both in-person and virtual gatherings. No events are scheduled yet, but this page will be updated when the first meetup is ready.

What could make the Valley better?

What is something you notice in everyday life that you think our community could do better?

The community listening form is being prepared. It will not publish submissions automatically, and people will be able to participate without publicly sharing their real names.

Get updates

A MatSuBlue newsletter is being planned for local events, issue explainers, relevant Alaska developments, ballot measures, volunteer opportunities, and recommended local reporting.

Newsletter signup is coming soon.

Help build it

MatSuBlue is new. Local knowledge, research, writing, photography, event help, and thoughtful participation will all matter as it grows.
