About MatSuBlue
MatSuBlue started with a simple observation: there are people across the Valley noticing the same everyday problems, even when they do not know one another yet.
This site exists to help those people find each other, learn from reliable local information, and turn concern into practical community action.
This is not a national-news feed or a place built around permanent outrage. The focus is the Mat-Su Valley and Alaska issues that directly affect the people who live here.
MatSuBlue is intended to become a community larger than any one person.
Who started it
Anthony Lemos is a Wasilla resident, retired U.S. Air Force veteran, audio editor, podcast producer, and event photographer. He started MatSuBlue to help people who care about the Valley find one another and work on shared problems.
MatSuBlue is intended to grow beyond any one person.
